An important historical event is happening on Monday April 8, 2024. The Nannen Arboretum at 28 Parkside Drive, Ellicottville, is in
the direct path of the full solar eclipse. Members of the arboretum committee are inviting the public to use the wide-open spaces by the
pond and meadows to view this spectacular event. The eclipse will begin at 2:03 pm. Full totality will be at 3:17 pm and the eclipse will be
over at 4:30 pm. Protective glasses, provided compliments of Cattaraugus County, will be free at the entrance to the arboretum beginning at 1 pm.
Bring your favorite lawn chair and follow the asphalt path to the pond and open areas on the arboretum grounds. Refreshments and bathrooms
available.
